Sputtering Target Materials

Samples of individual lots are permanently archived for future analytical or investigative work. Actual analysis of all target materials are shipped with orders. Analysis of materials are performed by the source mill via ICP, ICP-MS, or GDMS (gas content via Leeco). Our own alloys are analyzed by an independent laboratory or can be done by a laboratory of your choice, we work with several in the U.S. All targets are individually marked with a lot number that is fully traceable to the original melt / source via our customized database.

Manufactures Cathodes and Targets, both Rotary and Planar. Soleras offers unique Vacuum Cast, Plasma Sprayed and HIPed Target materials including Zn, Zn/Al, Si/Al, Cr, Sn and many others. Soleras also does bonding in-house and manufactures Backing Plates/Tubes and vacuum related spare parts.
